Salam semua,

Lama dah tak update blog ni..dah penuh dengan sawang labah2 :). Last update dulu pun masa bulan Ogos lepas masa hari merdeka. Nak dekat lebih kurang 4 bulan masa berlalu dan banyak liku-liku kehidupan yang dah di tempuhi. Dari hari Malaysia 16 September, Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Hari Raya Haji, Awal Muharram..semua dah lepas untuk tahun ni. Sekarang ni pun lagi beberapa hari dah nak dekat masuk tahun yang baru, 2011. Ape azam untuk tahun ni? Rasa macam tak perlu set azam dah sebab baik berazam tiap2 hari..tak perlu tunggu setahun sekali. Kalau tak azam tu boleh tahan dalam beberapa bulan je..pastu takde dah hehe. Mungkin bagi orang lain boleh tahan sampai ke akhir tahun.

Life semenjak akhir Ogos, macam biasa..pegi kelas balik kelas..cuma sekarang ni nak sambung wat thesis je. Alang-alang tu boleh kerja cari duit sket..dah lebih kurang 3 bulan kerja alhamdulillah. Thesis tu bley letak tepi kejap :P. Penat jgk keja ni sbb slalu kne balik lambat..sebab dia based on project yang ade dateline so time akhir2 ni memang kne pulun habis-habisan. Harap lps dateline ni bley kurangkan kebizian sket.

Kepada sesapa yg beragama kristian tu saya ucapkan Merry Christmas dan selamat tahun baru pada semua..kut2 tak sempat nak wish kat sini kan..baik wish awal2.

Banyak kejayaan yang telah di capai dalam tempoh 53 tahun ni..tapi ada juga unsur-unsur negatif dan peristiwa hitam telah berlaku di dalam negara kita. Mari kita sama-sama doakan agar negara kita akan mencapai kejayaan yang lebih gemilang di masa yang akan datang.

Universiti cemerlang Malaysia 2009

Malam semalam tengok berita kat TV3 tak? Kalau tengok mesti perasan ade news mengenai institusi-institusi pengajian tinggi yang cemerlang dalam sistem rating pengajian tinggi Malaysia untuk tahun 2009. Ada 18 institusi-institusi pengajian tinggi yang mendapat tempat di Tier 5 iaitu Cemerlang merangkumi institusi kerajaan dan swasta. Bagaimanapun, takde satu pun institusi yang berjaya mendapat tempat tertinggi pada Tier 6 iaitu terbaik. Terdengar sebutan Universiti Multimedia dari mulut pembaca berita bila dia menyebut institusi yang berada di Tier 5. Tetiba rasa gembira sangat al-maklum pernah menuntut kat sana..rasa macam berbaloi plak aku belajar kat sana. Ye la universiti yang aku penah belajar dulu di beri penghargaan sedemikian.

Ranking institusi di dalam Tier 5 adelah seperti di bawah.

Facebook untuk umat Islam?

Salam,

Tadi kebetulan saya tengah baca news headlines kat Google News, ternampak 1 petikan berita dari Pakistan. Rasanye semua dah tau kan mengenai ade 1 group di Facebook yang menganjurkan hari melukis gambar Rasul kita, Nabi Muhammad S.A.W yang juga menimbulkan api kemarahan umat Islam seluruh dunia dan paling ketara di Pakistan apabila sebuah mahkamah di Pakistan memerintahkan Internet regulator di sana untuk menyekat akses Internet ke Facebook. Bukan saja Facebook, malah banyak lagi laman web yang di katakan offensive kepada umat Islam termasuklah Youtube.

Petikan berita yang saya baca tadi adelah mengenai sekumpulan 6 orang pakar IT di Pakistan yang berjaya membangunkan laman web social networking ala Facebook khas untuk umat Islam. Tujuan laman web ni di bangunkan sebab nak tunjuk protes pada Facebook yang tak mengambil tindakan tegas ke atas group terbabit. Secara tak langsung, dapat memecah monopoli Facebook (boleh ke pecah?). Tapi tu semua bergantung pada features yang ade kat laman web tersebut.

Saya ade terbaca satu artikel di dlm Harian Metro hari ni (11 Februari 2010) mengenai satu acara yg akan berlangsung di Putrajaya. Acara tersebut di anjurkan oleh Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj) untuk menarik ramai orang ke Putrajaya..lebey2 lg di katakan Putrajaya agak sunyi dan suram pada waktu malam. Oleh sebab tu, Perbadanan Putrajaya cuba menangkis persepsi tersebut dgn acara ni.

Huhu sy mmg suka pegi acara2 yg mcm ni. InsyaAllah kalau ade kesempatan mmg nak pegi. Jadual acara adelah seperti di bawah.

Ape salah satu dari tujuh keajaiban dunia yg sy maksudkn tu? Tak lain tak bukan ialah Tembok Besar China.

Memang menakjubkan..panjang Tembok Besar China ni 8851 kilometer. Jenuh la kalau nk berjalan dari hujung ke hujung hehe :P.

Salam,

Korang igt lagi x kisah Nur Amalina ni? atau nama penuhnye Nur Amalina Che Bakri..yang berjaya mendapat 17A1 dalam peperiksaan SPM 2004. Selama ni sy penah terdengar khabar angin n ura-ura yang Nur Amalina ni dah kne 'tendang' dari Edinburgh University atas sebab gagal dalam pelajaran. Bkn sorang dua je yang bercerita tentang ni tp ramai..oleh sebab ramai yang cakap Nur Amalina ni dah kne 'tendang' then aku pun percaya la..ye la kalau sorang dua mungkin skeptic sket.

Nur Amalina berjaya mendapat biasiswa Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) utk sambung belajar di Edinburgh University dalam bidang medical.

Hari ni sy terbaca dlm website Bernama..nampaknye Nur Amalina masih lg belajar di sana dan jgk beliau merupakan antara pelajar yang terbaik. Di sebabkan beliau mendapat result yang sangat gempak..beliau di offer oleh pihak universiti utk amik 1 lg degree dalam bidang Pharmacology with Industrial Experience. Bila Nur Amalina tamat belajar..beliau akan mendapat MBChB dan jgk B Med Sc. Akronim utk ape tu..pandai2 la tnye uncle google key :).

Ntah macam mana boleh kuar cerita yg tak betul ni..boleh di katakan salah satu cara nak menjatuhkan imej Nur Amalina ni. Kepada yang pembuat cerita..dah-dah la tu..kenapa la ko nak memburukkan orang lain sesama Islam..jauhkan la rasa iri hati tu. Just improve yourself sudey..tak payah nak mengada nak jatuhkan orang lain.

Berita baik kpd pelanggan2 Astro yg memiliki set televisyen yg mampu memainkan High Definition (HD) content..Astro All Asia Networks secara rasminye akan memancarkn siaran HD terus ke rumah anda pada hujung bulan Disember ni.

At last dapat jgk merasa siaran HD kat Malaysia ni..selama ni ramai yang beli tv yg mampu memainkan kandungan HD tapi masalahnye kandungan tu wujud dlm kuantiti yang kecil je. Antara kandungan HD yg lain tu adelah Blu-ray..tapi berapa byk isi rumah yang ade Blu-ray player.? Harga pn dh mencecah 4 angka. Lebih dari kemampuan kebanyakkan isi rumah di Malaysia ni.

Skrg ni tv dah canggih tapi siaran masih di tahap sub-standard analog..sebab tu gambar di tv LCD tu blur dan jgk pixelated. Di jangkakan dekoder baru akan di lancarkan Astro yg mempunyai port HDMI yakni kabel yg mampu menyalurkan signal HD video & audio.

Harap2 Astro takkan menaikkan harga langganan untuk pengguna..dan jgk dekoder tu dpt di tukar dgn harga yg berpatutan..kalo bley free lg bagus kan hehe :).

Just saw this news article on the internet today. This article shows dat our IT security is very weak. Who should be blamed if there is data theft.? moreover the data is critical and confidential.

Sy amat bersetuju dgn mantan perdana menteri kita..Tun Mahathir Mohamad..we have 1st world infrastructure but 3rd world mentality. Ni adelah salah 1 contoh yg jelas dan nyata huhu :).

Slipper shocker at high-tech server chamber

JOHOR BARU: The state treasury’s server room, equipped with high-tech features to prevent theft, was not that secure after all.

A pair of slippers was being used as a door-stopper despite the fact that the room was fitted with a biometric thumb print reader!

Auditors made the discovery during a visit to the server room in Dec 2008.

According to the Auditor-General’s 2008 report, backed with a picture of the slipper at the door, all the other necessary features such as fire extinguishers, backup data in the server, equipment for uninterrupted power supply, anti-virus software and firewalls were available.

The report stated that the biometric entry system for the server room was not fully enforced.

This was among the problems identified when auditing the management of the state’s standard computerised accounting systems applications, known as SPEKS.

The report also revealed that overall, the SPEKS system was not up to mark and had not achieved its objective.

On the security management for SPEKS, the report showed this was also not satisfactory as users did not regularly update their passwords which could lead to hacking of the system.

SPEKS was developed at a cost of RM59.07mil to realise the Federal Govern-ment’s need for a uniform computerised accounting system in all 11 states in the peninsula.

The project development cost for Johor alone was RM6.22mil.

The development of the system covers 11 modules, which connects the state treasury with all relevant agencies.

Infatuation

I learn a new word and definition today..Infatuation.

Does this word ring a bell? For those who doesn't know:

Infatuation -
is the state of being completely carried away by unreasoned passion or love; addictive love. Usually, one is inspired with an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone.

Logically the definition above is somewhat same as Love..but it is not Love. Love as according to Wikipedia is:

a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person.

I wonder whether the feelings whenever we seeing someone is just an Infatuation or Love. Fortunately, I've found out an article that can explain this.

Is What I'm Feeling Infatuation or Love?

There are some feelings we have when infatuated that we don’t have when we’re feeling love. Some of the “symptoms” of infatuation are; feelings of panic, uncertainty, overpowering lust, feverish excitement, impatience, and/or jealously.

When infatuated, we are thrilled, but not happy, wanting to trust, yet suspicious. There are lingering, nagging doubts about our “partner in infatuation” and their love for us. We’re miserable when they’re away, almost like we’re not complete unless we’re with them. It’s a rush and it’s intense. It’s difficult to concentrate. And most infatuation relationships have a high degree of sexual charge around them. Somehow being with them is not complete unless in ends in some type of sexual encounter.

Do any of these “symptoms” resemble feelings of love? Hardly. So why do we become infatuated? Where does it come from? Perhaps it’s biological.

When infatuated we experience a surge of dopamine that rushes through the brain causing us to feel good. Norepinephrine flows through the brain stimulating production of adrenaline (pounding heart). Phenylethalimine (found in chocolate) creates a feeling of bliss. Irrational romantic sentiments may be caused by oxytocin, a primary sexual arousal hormone that signals orgasm and feelings of emotional attachment. Together these chemicals sometimes override the brain activity that governs logic.

The body can build up tolerances to these chemicals so it takes more of the substance to get that special feeling of infatuation. People who jump from relationship to relationship may be craving the intoxicating effects of these substances and may be “infatuation junkies”.

When the chemical flood dries up, the relationship either moves into a loving romantic one or there is disillusionment, and the relationship ends.

NAP..seperti yg korang tau..NAP adelah akronim utk National Automotive Policy atau dlm bahasa melayunya Polisi Automotif Nasional. Baru2 ni kerajaan dah pun keluarkan revised NAP beberapa hari lepas. Sy mmg tertunggu2 dgn pengumuman revised NAP dari kerajaan ni dan sy harapkan ade impact yg positif tapi apabila polisi baru tu di umumkan..sy agak kecewa. Sy amat berharap polisi automotif negara dpt membantu meningkatkn daya saing kita dlm industri ni especially di kalangan negara ASEAN tapi nampaknya jiran2 kita akn meninggalkan kita lebih jauh lg ke belakang.

Kecewa sebab polisi tu membebankan rakyat terutamanya berpendapatan rendah dan tak mempunyai income yg stabil. Di sini sy sertakan senarai NAP yg di keluarkan beberapa hari lepas.

* A total of 18 new policies and measures covering licencing, duties, incentives, technology and environment, safety and standards and APs to be effective January 1st 2010.

* Open AP system to be scrapped by December 31 2015.

* AP holders will be audited twice a year.

* A gazetted Customs pricelist for used CBU cars to be established to supplement the current list of new CBU cars. This will be used to prevent underdeclaration of grey import vehicles by declaring then as “used” instead of new in order to manipulate the price, as the gazetted pricelist is currently only for new vehicles.

* A large chunk of the RM300 million expected to be collected from the RM10,000 per Open AP fee to be used to develop the auto industry and increase Bumiputra entrepreneurship participation in the auto industry.

* Import duty on CBU & CKD cars maintained.

* Import of used parts to stop in June 2011.

* Incentives and exemptions will be increased to develop local auto parts.

* Franchise APs to be terminated by December 31 2020.

* Foreign firms can apply for manufacturing licenses to hold 100% shares in firms to produce vehicles with engine capacity of larger than 1,800cc and costing more than RM150,000. This will open up the upper end of the market while keeping the lower end where Proton and Perodua are protected.

* Issuance of new Manufacturing License to be unfrozen for selected segments – hybrid and electric vehicles, pick-up trucks, commercial vehicles and motorcycles with engine capacity of 200cc and above

* Vehicles 15 years and older will have to be tested annually for roadworthiness; provisions to be made for vintage cars.

* A new strategic partnership between Proton and an established manufacturer will be established.

* Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to establish clear roadmap for fuel standards and quality towards Euro 4M standards to be implemented by 2011

* Automotive Development Fund and Industrial Adjustment Fund will be continued. Despite excise duty and import duty being the same across the board for all makes whether ‘national’ or foreign, cars that have a decent amount of local content as well as proof of local activities such as R&D will receive incentives from the funds. This is where national makes like Proton gets an advantage – despite an equally high excise duty, it gets rebates because its cars are developed locally. Supposedly anyone who meets the fund requirements are able to get the same incentives, but it’s safe to say only Proton has that much investment in the Malaysian auto industry.

* Exemptions on statutory income from exported goods will be increased to 30% from 10% for goods with at least 30% value-added content (I’m guessing this means local content), and from 15% to 50% for goods with at least 50% value-added content.

Sy cuma nk bercerita sket psl polisi ni satu per satu..

Psl AP..Open AP (Approved Permit) hanya akn dimansuhkan pd 2015 dan Franchised AP hanya akn dimansuhkn pada tahun 2020! Kenapa mengambil masa yg terlalu lama utk mansuhkan AP yg di kaitkan dgn unsur2 korupsi, kronisme dan jgk monopoli. Rakyat ptt mendapat hak yg sama rata utk mengimport kenderaan luar dn jgk mencetuskn persaingan yg secara tak langsung akn memberi manfaat kpd rakyat.

Duti import utk kenderaan CBU & CKD di kekalkan..rmai yg tertunggu2 harga kenderaan akn jatuh bila AFTA di kuatkuasakan..dalam mimpi je la nmpk gayenye huhu.

Import of used imported parts akn dihentikan pada 2011..ada yg tak kena dgn polisi ni kerana polisi ni yg akn membebankan rakyat secara keseluruhan. Lebih2 lagi dgn polisi kenderaan yg berusia lebih 15 tahun perlu di periksa di Puspakom sebelum dpt memperbaharui road tax.

Seperti yg kita nmpk..rmai rakyat negara ni yg menggunakan kenderaan import lama..x kira di kampung ke atau di bandar. Masalahnya bukan dari segi diorang mampu pakai kenderaan import..diorang beli kenderaan import lama sebab walaupn dah berusia tapi reliable dan tahan lasak. Kenderaan2 import lama ni jgk ade yg lebih murah dari kereta nasional yg baru..oleh sebab tu kenderaan tersebut jadi pilihan rakyat yg berpendapatan rendah. Mereka yg mempunyai kenderaan import lama ni bergantung pada spare part terpakai import..terutamanye dari kedai potong. Walaupn terpakai tapi masih berkeadaan baik dn murah..yg paling penting skali original. Of course ade spare part yg original tapi sangat mahal dn susah nk di dapati coz model yg dh lama x di keluarkan. Sy yakin selepas waktu itu spare part imitation yg x di ketahui ketahanannye akn flourish di pasaran..tu tak termasuk lg pasaran gelap.

Pemilik2 kenderaan ni pula di bebankan dgn pemeriksaan Puspakom yg di belenggu korupsi. Kau nk lepas test ni tak? Suma bley setel dgn RMxx. Kalo tak berjanggut la nak tunggu keta kau lepas test Puspakom huhu. Kalau kenderaan ade masalah..kne repair dlu baru boleh lepas tapi masalahnye spare part dah mahal n susah nk cari. Akhirnya pemilik terpaksa lepaskan kenderaan mereka coz tak mampu utk melepasi peraturan.

Kerajaan patut sedar yg bukan suma orang mampu pakai kenderaan baru..mereka yg berpendapatan rendah dan income yg x stabil susah nk dptkn pinjaman kenderaan..dan ade jugak mereka yg tak mahu di bebani hutang sampai 9-10 tahun. Lebih2 lagi harga kenderaan di Malaysia adelah antara yang tertinggi di dunia. Sbg contoh Toyota Camry 2.4v boleh di beli dgn harga RM90,000 di UAE dan RM174,000 di Malaysia.

Polisi yg di umumkan kerajaan ni bagi pendapat sy..adelah polisi utk rakyat terpaksa mendisposekan kenderaan lama secara senyap dan membeli kenderaan nasional yg baru. Kerajaan tak patut membuat lg polisi yg menjerut poket rakyat biasa..dan kerajaan patut mencari jalan utk mcm mana nk meningkatkan taraf hidup rakyat..dan juga dari segi pendapatan agar rakyat mampu utk memiliki kenderaan baru..bukan dgn membuat polisi yg juga secara paksaan.

Dh bersawang jgk blog ni..dh lama x updet. Agak bizi dgn keje skrg memandangkn dateline yg dh dekat n kne spend most of my time focus on work. Byk aktiviti yg berlaku in the past week n cuma takde masa je nk post kt sini coz I can online only in the office. Of coz la x dpt nk post blog..nnt kne tapleq plak dgn my bos huhu :P. Dpt post yg sikit2 tu pn ms lunch break.

Ckp psl sawang, alhamdulillah akhirnya dh bley access laman sesawang kt umah. In fact baru je dpt online few hours ago. Well, mesti rmai yg igt sy dh psg streamyx but I'm afraid not. Sy apply Jaring Flite Wired with WiFi router. Knp sy apply Jaring instead of Streamyx? Mungkin just nk try other ISP n dh wat comparison dari segi harga.

Meh kta wt comparison n use my case study :)

Arini melakar sejarah baru dalam hidup saya..nak tau sebab ape? Petang semalam tengah wat keje kt opis tetiba terdengar bunyi berkeriuk kat atas siling. Agak pelik jugak..apekah ade si tikus kat atas siling tu? Tak pernah dengar pulak sebelum ni. Saya just ignorekan aje dan terus sambung wat keje..mungkin orang tingkat atas tu menari terhenjut-henjut kt atas kot..who knows. Then bunyi tu still ade lagi..tak berhenti. Then tetiba sorang staff kt opis tegur saya, Mr. A "Eh Fadli..cube ko tgk apsal kerusi tu bergoyang".. sy plak jwb blk "Eh btol la..tgk tu bingkai gambar, air dlm cawan pn bergerak". Time tu memang chuak habis..gempa bumi. Nampak la dinding..bidai tingkap bergerak. Memang tak dapat lupa time tu.

Tu la pengalaman pertama sy secara live..merasai gempa bumi..walaupn takde la kuat mana pn tp takut jugak la kan..opis kitorang kat tingkat 14. Takut ape2x jadi dengan bangunan ni kn. Masa kejadian tu tak tau la ape nak wat..nk turun tangga..penat plak nak turun..kalau tingkat 2-3 ke takde la penat sangat kan. Then ktorang just stay je dalam opis..lain kalau dah gegar tahap dewa kan. Cuma tunggu dan sempat mengucap je. Agak lama jugak gegaran tu..ada la dalam 2 minit lebey kalau tak silap.

Dalam 30 min lepas tu tengok website USGS . Rupenye ade gempa bumi berukuran 7.6 pd skala richter dekat Padang, Sumatera. Kuat jugak tu even amaran tsunami pun dah di keluarkan.

Tu baru tingkat 14..macam mana la kalau kt tingkat 88 KLCC ataupn kt atas menara KL tu..dah la 1 tiang jer huhu. Mesti 2 kali ganda lebey kuat. Tapi alhamdulillah semuanye OK. Takde bangunan2x kt KL ni yg runtuh.

p/s : Takziah pada mangsa gempa di Padang, Sumatera..dgr kata lebey 100 orang meninggal dunia. Mesti ade hikmah di sebalik semua kejadian walaupn perit.

Sy agak sedih and mood yg agak gloomy kerana Ramadhan bakal berakhir..rs mcm br beberapa hari berpuasa.

Dah lama x updet blog ni..almost near a month. Lately I'm too busy to post anything into this blog. Of course there must be a reason why I'm a bit busy. Actually I have a job now but it is just temporary and not related to IT at all. The task that I'm working on suppose to complete in 3 months but I have to get it done in 3 weeks. I'm a bit overwhelmed and stressed out but I hope this coming holiday I can get some rest but surely I will do some of the work at home next week. Currently, I'm working for Aqalivista Consulting & Services Sdn. Bhd and the company specialises in franchise consultation and the client assigned to me is Eastern Biotech Resources Sdn. Bhd..alaa yg buat produk gamat tu mcm Gamogen.

Petang ni agak kurang sket keje (padahal saje je slow2x wt coz bahang cuti dh semakin hampir huhu :P). Neway, byk yg sy blaja dr sini especially in doing documentation dlm franchising and lebey kurang mcm audit job jgk la hehe. Tp xpe la bleh add some skills and pengalaman hidup dlm kerjaya. Maybe klw dh kurang busy I will post something. Idea dah ade cuma I don't have the time.

Pada hari ni (Jumaat 28 August 2009), adelah hari kelahiran sy yg ke-24. Perasaan tu ade happy..ade jgk sedey coz makin tua woo :(. Yg hepinye dpt bonus 50% reload 3 hari sblm/selepas tarikh harijadi. Tp reload pn slalunye RM5 je...brp sen la sgt bonus yg dpt kn hihi.

Alhamdulillah, umur masih panjang lg :). Entry hari ni agak short coz i'm in class now..skrg ni lunch break. Lgpn skrg pn puasa..lepak kt klas jer & surfing. Besday celebration..hmm dgn kwn2x maybe x kot..bergantung pd situasi mlm ni. Lgpn I'm going to buka puasa + celebrate wif my family..dgr kata mkn kt Johnny's Wangsa Maju. So i guess buka puasa mkn steamboat la kn.

Ekceli, sebenarnye dh ade plans wif Acap nk buka puasa kt Seoul Garden One Utama and layan shisha afterwards but suddenly my family nk buka puasa sama arini..den x dpt nk wat ape la kn.. family 1st :). Nk kuar ngan member bebila masa pn bley kn.. lebey2x lg dh tinggal kt KL nie.

Sempena harijadi pd arini.. sy tgk blk objektif2x & goals yg dh target nk capai.. yg nmpknye still blom tercapai. Still need a lot of work to achieve my goals.

Sujan & I went to YS Photo shop @ SS2 PJ to collect the graduation pics taken on previous day. Then suddenly we saw something weird..well this is my 1st time to see such situation. The traffic lights installed in the area are 3-tiers where they put 3 traffic light mounted on 1 single pole facing to the same direction. Thus the color of the lights will turn up to be the same and it doesn't make sense to me as a single traffic light is sufficient enough.

As u can see in the pic below..the traffic light is like this. (sorry for the poor quality of the image)

Can anyone (especially PJians) clarify this for me ?

Hari ni ade 1 task yg di amanahkn utk sy iaitu mengantar blk adik ke Melaka & amanah tu dh berjaye di laksanakn dgn jayanye huhu . Sblm blk ke umah..lepak dlu dgn kengkawan nk relaxkn minda..almaklum la nk drive jauh kn. Selepas je menjamu selera kt infasha atas tu time nk blk tetiba keta wt hal la plak..adoila time tu dh la mlm..tekan minyak bagai nk rak.. "prenggg prengggg" tp jln pnye la slow cm siput..oops sori bunyi dia " vrooom vroom". Msk gear 1 lepas clutch tp x mati enjin...apekah yg dialami ketaku ini bisik hatiku.

Nasib baik la ajal keta tu dkt2 skolah rendah bkt beruang..mmg agak nasib baik jgk..klw ajal dia smpi kt tgh hiway yg gelap gulita tu x pepasal je kn . Mlm tu jenuh jgk nk berjalan dr situ ke 7E bkt beruang tp alhamdulillah xde la pnat sgt. Kebetulan plak si Faris tgh tgk wayang kt DP..tp beliau telah pn mengontek Wan utk tlg. Plan igt nk drive keta tu ke area 7E tu coz ade workshop...keta tu bleh la jln slow sket walaupn amatlah semput bile nk naik bukit.

Wan tgh mengecheck ketaku.."clutch kabel jem atau clutch plate dh abis kot" katanye.

Plan igtkn nk tinggalkn keta kt area 7E tp tkr fikiran plak...letakkn keta tu kt area kolej komuniti. At least dh dkt dgn workshop kt sg. putat tu..bley antar bsk pg. Mlm tu sy tdo kt umah Faris...

Bsk pg antar keta tu ke workshop & mmg btol kata si Wan tu..clutch dh abis..licin. Petanda2 kecik dia mmg dh perasan since 2 weeks ago tp igtkn xde pa per la kn..coz 1st time rs clutch abis..slalunye rosak bende2 lain je. Dh takdirku mcm ni..nk wt mcm mn..redha je la :). Tp yg x bestnye byk duit yg akn melayang arini . Alhamdulillah keta tu dpt di repair dlm 4-5 jam..so dpt la jgk blk pd hari tu.

Sabtu, 1st August 2009. Arini plan nk ke PC Fair 2009 kt KL Convention Centre ngan Sujan cz dia nk beli laptop baru sblm dia balik ke Bangladesh. Dh plan utk trip ni since 2 hari lps but suddenly dis morning I've received a call from ma aunty yg dia nk sy belikn laptop utk dia n dia memerlukan khidmat nasihat sy utk choose laptop yg seswai utk dia. "Okay" sy jawab mengenai permintaan dia. But..nmpknye bkn ma aunty je yg kol pg ni..ade sowang lg member kol nk folo skali. Nak beli keyboard baru katenye..sy pn iyekn aje la..asalkn keta muat huhu.

Aih kebetulan plak arini lak owg nk dok berdemonstrasi utk mansuhkn ISA..sure byk roadblock kt KL ni. Tp sangkaan sy slh..x kne roadblock pn ms odw ke KLCC but there's a roadblock @ tol gombak Karak hiway. Sangkut jgk la dlm 30-40 min kt situ isk isk iskk :( . 1st of all, pick up Sujan @ PV5 apartment kt Tmn Melati..after dat pegi Tmn Melawati jap nk beli sum tools for ma sister's interior design project. Abis je beli kelengkapan tu sy antar adik ke Tmn Melati LRT station cz she wanted to go out wif her friends. Ms dh makin suntuk..ma aunty even dh call byk kali tnye where am i. Pstu trus pecut ke Sentul Timur LRT station to pick up Kay yg dh lama jgk terpacak kt situ..sori bro hhuhu :P.

Selesai sudah misi mengambil owg..then trus shoot to ma grandma's home to get the money for laptop shopping :). Walaupn laptop tu not for me but time tu I feel excited.. I dunno why..maybe cz I just love computers. Ma aunty ade pesan..beli laptop murah je under RM2k.. lgpn dia pkai for word processing & presentation je.. hmm ok so I need to purchase a lower end laptop.

Smpi je kt KL Convention Centre parking, prepare face mask.. safety 1st sempena musim H1N1 ni huhu..1st time jgk pkai surgery mask kt public..lebey2 kt tmpt yg ade klas cm kt KLCC ni hehe. Tp xpe la...xnk kene penyakit nye pasal kn. Byk laptop model to choose from..Toshiba..Lenovo..Acer..Dell..HP..Compaq..BenQ..Samsung..Twinhead..Fujitsu etc... terpk jgk nk beli Acer tp my friends x recommend beli Acer cz poor built quality..well..ok cube try brand lain plak... because of limited budget ade 2 model je yg bebetul kena dgn nilai n spec iaitu laptop from Dell n Asus.

I did comparison for the both laptop..& xde la beza sgt pn..but finally I've made my decision. I bought...

plus..I did some adjustment to the spec.. tambah lg 2GB SDRAM..so total SDRAM is 4GB DDR2. An extra of RM100.

so the total cost of the laptop is RM2099 .. plus with 1 year warranty and anti-theft insurance policy.

Ma 2nd purchase is an original Microsoft Office 2007 Home & Student edition as ma aunty doesn't want any pirated stuffs to be installed into the laptop..well ok.. I paid RM199 for it.

Ma last purchase is the Celcom 3G Broadband as she need internet access at least for the next 4 months.. I sign up for it with RM98 monthly bill for 3.6 mbps internet speed. There are other competitors such as Maxis and Digi 3G but as I know that Maxis 3G is the worst in the market and Digi 3G is still in infancy stage. So that's why I opted for Celcom 3G. The start-up kit costs me RM347.

Other than ma aunty's stuff.. I bought myself a 2GB DDR2 SDRAM for the desktop as I feel that the desktop @ home is quite sluggish with only 1GB RAM.. it cost me RM85 though.

Punye la lama kt convention centre ni smpi lunch pn pkl 7 mlm haha.. kami pn had our lunch @ Kenny Rogers kt tmpt yg sama. Alhamdulillah kenyang jgk walaupn beberape jam menahan lapar. Puas shopping n mkn.. kami pn pulang ke umah masing2x.

Assalamualaikum,

Fyi..now I'm officially switched my OS from Windows Vista to the latest version of Windows that yet to be released where it is believed that the new version of Windows will be available in the first quarter of 2010. Currently I'm using Windows 7 Release Candidate edition (RC)..reason I changed to Windows 7 is because my Windows Vista is already corrupted due to lightning and even Microsoft technical support has asked me to reinstall fresh copy of windows. Then I think dat this is the rite time to test the new Windows. I rather install the RC version than Beta coz I know that Beta might have a lot of bugs and RC is much more stable .

I installed the 64-bit version of Windows 7 as my machine conform to the minimum requirements needed. First impression during installation..I notice that the installation is much faster than Vista and surprisingly same with the boot up and shut down time where U can notice the difference with the time taken between Vista n 7.

the all new Windows 7... .

From the user's perspective..I can see some differences in term of layout between Vista n 7. First of all..programs or folder can be pinned into the taskbar and similar programs can be grouped together in the taskbar if the user execute the program more than one.

Other interesting addition in 7 is dat it can change the wallpaper of the desktop to other wallpaper in selected time interval for example, 30 mins . I like this feature a lot coz it can give the desktop a new fresh look. I also like 7 because it feels 'lighter' and everything seems to be fast and smooth. Other than that, Vista drivers can be used in 7 as I've read in some articles dat the developers has assured that 7 is backward compatible with Vista drivers and applications.

New application upgrades has been included in 7 such as Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Media Player 12 but there are some programs that has gone missing (eg. Windows Movie Maker) coz Microsoft has decided that some programs will be packed as optional. As a new OS, there are pros n cons. In 7, there are some programs/applications dat didn't work..but it's OK as this version is still under development. Critical applications such as Office 2007, Java, etc. still can be used as usual.

There are so much more features that U can explore in this new version of Windows. If U want to install it..make sure dat U install it in different partition other than C:\ as this version of Windows is a pre-release version..NOT a live release version. Pls do backup of important files b4 installation .

System requirements:

CPU : 1 GHz processor (32- or 64-bit)
Memory (RAM) : 1 GB of RAM (32-bit); 2 GB of RAM (64-bit)
GPU : Support for DirectX 9 graphics device with 128MB of memory (for Aero)
HDD : 16 GB free space (32-bit); 20 GB of available disk space (64-bit)
Optical Drive : DVD-R/W

For the installation files please visit here (3.05GB, .iso file - pls burn it into a DVD-R by using Nero (recommended)).

Haaa ape lg..join je la lgpn busan x wt pa per . Aktiviti2 yg di buat adelah Wall Climbing n Kayaking.

Actually this is my 1st time gi Wall Climbing . Mmg sgt teruja nk panjat cz aktiviti ni agak popular dgn kwn2 kt KL tu..xnk la rs ketinggalan sgt kn. Lgpn nk cuba segala sukan2 yg ade sementara masih muda ni .

Fyi, this is my first time to use internet banking . Dh register since 2006 tp x pnah pakai since account suspended cz salah msk password 3 kali kot..dh x igt huhu. I just bought a new face wash from Guardian Jaya Jusco this afternoon. The brand is Clinelle Deep Cleansing Gel. The price is about RM28 after 15% discount for 100ml. The promoter said to me that the product is 100% from natural resources and rich with antioxidants (and I hope she's rite). Actually, this is my first time to use gel-based face wash but I wonder is this product better than the normal foam-based face wash.

Xm week dh pn tiba kt MMU ni..start pd bsk (Isnin 18/5/2009), student2 MMU akn menempuhi final xm utk semester 3 sesi 2008/2009 smpi 30 Mei 2009. Xm week ni berlangsung selama 2 minggu. Utk entry kali ni sy nk share sket ape yg sy blaja dr seminar study skills yg di anjurkn oleh STAD x lama dulu. Agak2 dh terlmbt ke..? Ape yg sy tau rmai yg ade paper bsk huhu .

Penceramah pd ms tu adelah seorang trainee counselor dr UM..Ting Jean Nee. Beliau ni mmg best..sempoi n mmg terer dlm komunikasi dgn org ramai .

Antara point2 yg di beri penceramah pd masa tu utk cara2 study yg betul adelah:-

Sentiasa dok kt dpn semasa berada di dlm klas

Semasa kt dpn kte dpt dgr penjelasan lecturer dgn jelas n dpt tumpukn perhatian. Nk berborak ke memain ke lps klas pn bleh wt kn..ape salahnye spend ms 2 jam tu utk belajar jer ye x .
Berehat utk 5 minit utk setiap 30 minit ulangkaji

Otak manusia ni umpama span..dia x dpt nk menyerap segala info2 ngan data2 utk jangka masa pjg. Ape kata setiap 30 min tu rest kejap kepala..pegi wt air ke basuh pinggan ke. InsyaAllah lps tu korang dpt terus fokus dlm ulangkaji.
Dptkn rehat yg cukup

Ni dh mesti la kn..cuba korang x tdo semalaman, x pn tdo kejap je..tgk dpt msk x ms korang study. Sure x dpt msk huhu .
Highlight point2 penting dlm nota

Yg ni sy x brp pasti tp bak kata penceramah..jgn gariskn setiap point2 penting dgn pensel + pen tp highlightkn dgn highlighter. Ini sbb otak kte amat sensitif dgn warna. Maybe kte dpt igt lebih kalo pkai highlighter.
Memakai bau-bauan/perfume yg berlainan ketika study

Ketika study, pkai perfume yg korang x slalu pkai..bau yg unik. Semasa xm pn pkai perfume yg sama ketika korang study dlu. Secara x langsung kte dpt igt ape yg kte study dlu. (x pnah dgr lg teknik ni tp worth to try.~ )
Wt preparation awal

Ni plg penting, agak2 boleh x nk jwb xm kalo study last minit..nk cover berbelas-belas chapter.
Cari tmpt yg senyap utk study

Dgn environment yg senyap..kte dpt menghafal dgn lebey berkesan .

Assalamualaikum,

Today is one of the saddest days in my life where a good friend of mine, Jumpy @ Viritipha Phakdeephasong has left all of us forever. The news about her death really shocked me and makes me wonder why U have to go now Jump? Why now? Don't U think it's too early?.

She was killed by the process of rough and complicated love and it's hard for U sad about it but U really should think deeply before U make any decision that will affect others especially ur beloved family. As U can see, there's ups and downs in a relationship and it just take time to find someone that is perfect for U. Allah S.W.T has created humans in couples and definitely there's true love for U. It just that u're not destined to meet him yet. All U need is to wait and pray to God that U will find ur true love..but I guess it's too late now.

I understand ur feeling in the past 6 months and I knew the hints that U've gave to me but I'm so sorry that I'm still recovering from past painful experience and U're right about the door that was closed in my heart and I just want to let U know that it's not that I tried to close my heart deliberately, I just wanted it to open and heal naturally. Of course it will take some time until I've found out that U already met someone else and I'm happy for U and hope for the best for both of U guys but I did not expect that the outcome will be going to be this way..but I guess it's too late now.

To Nadia, I know that U love ur sister very much and it's hard for U in this tough time but this is fate that we all have to accept. Life and death is in God's hands..I just hope that U and the rest of ur family will be strong to face this test and recover soon. Pray frequently to Allah S.W.T for her well-being in the afterlife. InsyaAllah with His great might and wisdom, she will be with the faithful ones. And Nadia, I promise U that I will not forget about her as long as I still live in this world.

5 of us.. my cousins, my sisters n I bertolak dr KLIA ke HKIA dgn 1 tujuan dan 1 matlamat..utk ke HK Disneyland. 1st time berpeluang nk melancong ke Disneyland ni..dr dlu lg time kecik2 mmg minat kartun2 Disney nih. Actually dis is my 2nd time to visit HK, pertama kali ms akhir thn 2002 n awal 2003 tp time tu Disneyland still not exist yet huhu . Kami abiskn 5 hari kt cni dan kebetulan plak bln 6..perghh mmg panas seyhhhh .

Sy x berminat sgt nk amik gmbar kt sini cz I've been here hundred of times since 2003 huhu . Dh selesai je jln2 smbil amik gmbar kt Jonker Street, sy pn try ajak si Syafiq ni ke Dataran Sg. Melaka yg dkt dgn kapal besar portugis tu..xde la jauh sgt dr Jonker. So, ktorang pn berjln la kaki ke sana. Tmpt ni baru je siap n 1st time dtg..quite excited nk tgk ape yg ade kt cni.

I wanna share wif u guys about an article and it is written by Stephen Covey. His article is about the 90/10 Principle and I've found that his article very informative and let me think about what he said in the article..our reaction does play an important part in our life.

Discover the 90/10 Principle. It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations).

What is this principle?
10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react.

What does this mean? We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%.

The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%. How? By your reaction. You cannot control a red light. but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example. You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just happened. What happens next will be determined by how you react. You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit.

After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse.

You look forward to coming home. When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter. Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why did you have a bad day?
A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?

The answer is "D". You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day.

Here is what could have and should have happened. Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "Its ok honey, you just need to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.

Notice the difference? Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different. Why? Because of how you REACTED. You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.

Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle. If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you! React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.

How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off. Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive? Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.

You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job. The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take outpour frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on. Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.

Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it. The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle. The result? Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle. It CAN change your life!!! Enjoy...

Meet up point kt Ikano Power Center, Mutiara Damansara. Dr Bidor, sy pn drive straight ke Ikano..smpi2 je dlm kul 4pm. Nk tunggu bebdk ni lmbt lg cz dh janji kul 6pm. Aduiyaii ape la ktorang nk wt dlm 2 jam ni . Ktorang pn pusing2 kt The Curve, kebetulan lak terjmpe 1 kedai yg sgt best. Nama kdai tu Daiso, kdai RM5. Salam,

Ade suatu kisah yg berlaku di hostel pd pagi subuh lebey kurang pkl 6.10am 29 April 2009. Pd ms tu sy br je bersiap2 nk tdo blk selepas solat subuh..tp sy dikejutkn dgn laungan/jeritan dr seseorang yg x lama sgt..lebih kurang 2 saat je. Diikuti dgn hempasan. Aihhh time tu igtkn ade bdk gaduh ke..memain ke. Sy just ignore je laungan tu tp tetiba sy terdengar makin lama makin kuat bunyi org bercakap di bwh..kebetulan katil sy kt belah atas..dr atas katil tu sy meniarap sambil jenguk2 bwh dr tingkap.

First, ade 2 org pak n mak guard..kemudian datang lg sorang..lg sorang n tetiba makin ramai..dgn bunyi walkie talkie suma. Time tu pelik jgk..apehal plak dh jd ni kn. Perbualan pak n mak guard kt bwh tu kuat n mmg jelas ape yg diorang katakn. Rupe2nye ade bdk terjatuh dr ostel . Time tu sy berfikir..sah mesti dh arwah bdk ni. Tanggapan sy ms tu igtkn bunuh diri dr tingkat atas tp pak guard tu asyik tunjuk2 pd bilik kt bwh..eyhhh xkn kt bilik bwh nk bunuh diri..x ke rendah sgt tu.

Sy pun perati la dr atas katil..mmg nmpk kesan darah kt atas jln tu. Smpikn kt bilik ni pn terbau hanyir darah . Mesti byk darah kt bwh tu smpikn bau tu leh smpi ke tingkat 4. Dlm 5 minit ade sorang pak guard telefon ambulans tp ambulans smpi agak lmbt (x smpi pn kt mmu)..dtg la sebuah van Emergency Response Team kot kalo x silap yg nk bwk bdk tu ke hospital. Sy igtkn td bdk tu dh arwah tp rupenye masih hidup. Dlm 6.20am..guard2 tu suma cuba utk angkat bdk tu ke atas stretcher tp x jd. Takut2 kalo angkat bdk tu nnt jd lg teruk. First attempt x jd..5 minit selepas tu diorang try utk 2nd attempt..akhirnye guard2 berjaya angkat bdk tu ke atas stretcher dgn bdk tu baring ke atas. Mmg nmpk jelas ape kecederaan yg bdk tu alami..tgk body ok..kaki ok..cuma muka je k.o. .. penuh dgn darah. Sy psti mesti jatuh kepala dulu..iskkk ms bdk tu dh dimskkn ke dlm van n pergi..mmg harap2 sgt la bdk tu akan ok..n harap pihak hospital akn wt yg terbaik utk dia.

Matahari pn naik...ms dh pkl 8 pagi. Turun dr hostel n nk ke kelas..tanya pak guard cedera kt mana. Katanye muka jatuh dlu n msk dlm longkang..adusss sakitnye. Ade la tulang2 muka yg pecah.

Sy terdengar 3 versi utk kes ni dr kwn2 n guard..

Versi 1:
Bdk ni tinggal kt tingkat 3, kebetulan plak time tu kwn dia kt dlm bilik x bkk pintu..n dia pn pegi ke bilik kwn di tingkat 2 (yg ade balkoni) utk panjat ke tingkat 3. Time nk panjat tu dia terjatuh.

Versi 2:
Bdk ni kt balkoni tingkat 2..dia bergurau dgn kwn n mcm mana tah terjatuh ataupn di tingkat 3 dimane bdk tu berada kt tepi tingkap.

Versi 3:
Cerita ni br je sy dgr dr pak guard ms nk blk td..ms tu bdk tu ade di balkoni tingkat 2..n dia bergaduh dgn sorang bdk..mcm mana tah dia terjatuh ke kwn dia tolak ke sy tak tau wallahualam.

Sy berharap xde lg la yg akan jadi mcm ni kt hostel lg smpi bila2..kpd suma berhati-hati la ye terutamanye pd sesapa yg tinggal kt tmpt tinggi. .

Hari ni sy berada di KL dan baru2 ni kebetulan plak sy aktif pegi ke gym..kt Melaka la especially. Tapi semenjak pegi ke KL ni sy rs mcm ade sumthing missing..rs mcm x complete rutin harian kalau x pegi gym huhu . Ptg tu jgk I grab my keys n trus shoot ke gym kt Wangsa Metroview, Wangsa Maju. Sebenarnye sy x penah lg pegi gym kt KL ni..sblm tu ade call kwn (yg jgk aktif berGym ni) n bertanye kt gym mana yg slalu dia pegi. Gym yg dia pegi tu mmg 1 deretan rumah kedai yg baru berdekatan dgn Alpha Angle..

1st impression..rumah kedai unit atas. Must be a small gym. Yup..I'm rite. The gym agak kecik sket n equipment pn x brp byk..x mcm Gan Boon Leong gym di Melaka huhu . Utk walk-in customer, harga dlm RM4. Ok la dr segi pricing mmg x brp mahal sgt..bknnye hari-hari pegi sini anyway .

Abis jer gym..br teringat yg sy blom solat asar lg. Lps ni ade appointment lain plak..kebetulan ade 1 masjid yg baru di bina bebetul kt dpn Wangsa Metroview ni.

Masjid Seksyen 2 Wangsa Maju

Teringat ms zaman sy tinggal kt KL dlu thn 1999-2001..slalu jln kaki dgn member2 skolah (jauh jgk beb tp maybe time tu bdk lg..rajin nk jln huhu
) ke masjid kt area Jusco dari Wangsa Melawati (Masjid Seksyen 2 blom start construction lg). Asal lalu dkt area Wangsa Metroview (ms ni hutan je kt area tu)..ktorang akn nmpk the whole view of KL yg sangat2 magnificent . Even ms tu ramai yg nk tgk bunga api utk certain occasion mcm New Year n Merdeka kt sini..view mmg clear..takde ape2 halangan.

KL dr jauh..

Tapi skrg ni..Wangsa Maju dh makin byk dgn apartments dgn condos. Smpi view KL dh x nmpk dr jalan besar..nk tgk pn dlm area masjid jer kebetulan kt atas bukit tp tu pn dh byk pokok yg dh tinggi2.

Baru2 ni sy agak bz sket cz due date assignments dh byk yg dekat..tu yg jarang updet. I must set my priority 1st la kn..iaitu study.

Sbg student sepenuh masa..kite perlukan memori yg baik utk hafal segala notes2 setiap subjek yg kite amik terutamanye melibatkn subjek2 teori. Memori yg baik sgt penting terutamanye bila nk exam . Tapi memori yg baik ni bkn je utk students tapi semua org secara amnya dlm kehidupan seharian.

Sy tertanya2 jgk mcm mana nk improve our memory..mcm2 cara yg sy jumpe even ade yg dlmm bentuk supplement dan jgk tabiat dan rutin seharian.

How to Improve Your Memory

1. Convince yourself that you do have a good memory that will improve. Too many people get stuck here and convince themselves that their memory is bad, that they are just not good with names, that numbers just slip out of their minds for some reason. Erase those thoughts and vow to improve your memory. Commit yourself to the task and bask in your achievements -- it's hard to keep motivated if you beat yourself down every time you make a little bit of progress.

2. Keep your brain active. Regularly “exercising" the brain keeps it growing and spurs the development of new nerve connections that can help improve memory. By developing new mental skills—especially complex ones such as learning a new language or learning to play a new musical instrument—and challenging your brain with puzzles and games you can keep your brain active and improve its physiological functioning. Try some puzzle exercises everyday such as word cross, sudoku and some other games as easy to put into your mobile phone and practise it maybe once for 30 minutes per day.

3. Exercise daily. Regular aerobic exercise improves circulation and efficiency throughout the body, including in the brain, and can help ward off the memory loss that comes with aging. Exercise also makes you more alert and relaxed, and can thereby improve your memory uptake, allowing you to take better mental “pictures."

4. Reduce stress. Chronic stress, although it does not physically damage the brain, can make remembering much more difficult. After prolonged stress the brain will be damaged. Stressful situations are recognized by the hypothalamus, which in turn signals the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland secreted adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH)which influences the adrenal glands to secrete adrenaline and later cortisol(corticosteroids). The corticosteroids can weaken the blood-brain barrier and damage the hippocampus(the memory center). Ironically, the hippocampus controls the secretion of the hormone released by the hypothalamus through a process of negative feedback. After chronic stress it will be damaged and it will not be as efficient in regulating the degenerative corticosteroids and memory will be harmed. Neurogenesis (formation of new neurons) indeed exists in the hippocampus but stress inhibits it. To recapitulate and synthesis, chronic stress will affect your health and your memory, it will damage the brain so the best option is to learn to control stress. Stress will never be eliminated, but it definitely can be controlled. 6. Take better pictures. Often we forget things not because our memory is bad, but rather because our observational skills need work. One common situation where this occurs (and which almost everyone can relate to) is meeting new people. Often we don’t really learn people’s names at first because we aren’t really concentrating on remembering them. You’ll find that if you make a conscious effort to remember such things, you’ll do much better. One way to train yourself to be more observant is to look at an unfamiliar photograph for a few seconds and then turn the photograph over and describe or write down as many details as you can about the photograph. Try closing your eyes and picturing the photo in your mind. Use a new photograph each time you try this exercise, and with regular practice you will find you’re able to remember more details with even shorter glimpses of the photos.

7. Give yourself time to form a memory. Memories are very fragile in the short-term, and distractions can make you quickly forget something as simple as a phone number. The key to avoid losing memories before you can even form them is to be able to focus on the thing to be remembered for a while without thinking about other things, so when you’re trying to remember something, avoid distractions and complicated tasks for a few minutes.

8. Create vivid, memorable images. You remember information more easily if you can visualize it. If you want to associate a child with a book, try not to visualize the child reading the book – that's too simple and forgettable. Instead, come up with something more jarring, something that sticks, like the book chasing the child, or the child eating the book. It's your mind – make the images as shocking and emotional as possible to keep the associations strong.

9. Repeat things you need to learn. The more times you hear, see, or think about something, the more surely you’ll remember it, right? It’s a no-brainer. When you want to remember something, be it your new coworker’s name or your best friend's birthday, repeat it, either out loud or silently. Try writing it down; think about it.

10. Group things you need to remember. Random lists of things (a shopping list, for example) can be especially difficult to remember. To make it easier, try categorizing the individual things from the list. If you can remember that, among other things, you wanted to buy four different kinds of vegetables, you’ll find it easier to remember all four.

11. Organize your life. Keep items that you frequently need, such as keys and eyeglasses, in the same place every time. Use an electronic organizer or daily planner to keep track of appointments, due dates for bills, and other tasks. Keep phone numbers and addresses in an address book or enter them into your computer or cell phone. Improved organization can help free up your powers of concentration so that you can remember less routine things. Even if being organized doesn’t improve your memory, you’ll receive a lot of the same benefits (i.e. you won’t have to search for your keys anymore).

12. Try meditation. Research now suggests that people who regularly practice "mindfulness" meditation are able to focus better and may have better memories. Mindfulness (also known as awareness or insight meditation) is the type commonly practiced in Western countries and is easy to learn. Studies at Massachusetts General Hospital show that regular meditation thickens the cerebral cortex in the brain by increasing the blood flow to that region. Some researchers believe this can enhance attention span, focus, and memory.

13. Sleep well. The amount of sleep we get affects the brain's ability to recall recently learned information. Getting a good night's sleep – a minimum of seven hours a night – may improve your short-term memory and long-term relational memory, according to recent studies conducted at the Harvard Medical School.

14. Build your memorization arsenal. Learn pegs, memory palaces, and the Dominic System. These techniques form the foundation for mnemonic techniques, and will visibly improve your memory.

15. Venture out and learn from your mistakes. Go ahead and take a stab at memorizing the first one hundred digits of pi, or, if you've done that already, the first one thousand. Memorize the monarchs of England through your memory palaces, or your grocery list through visualization. Through diligent effort you will eventually master the art of memorization.

PARIS (AFP) - - People who drink their tea piping hot run a higher risk of throat cancer than counterparts who prefer a cooler cuppa, according to an investigation published Friday by the British Medical Journal.

Cancer of the oesophagus is linked especially to smoking and alcohol abuse but hot beverages have also been considered a risk factor, possibly because of damage to throat tissue.

Interested in finding out more, Iranian researchers went to Golestan province, which has one of the highest rates of oesophageal cancer in the world.

Inhabitants there sip large quantities of hot black tea -- typically drinking more than a litre (1.8 pints) per day per person -- but also have a low incidence of tobacco and alcohol use.

A team led by Reza Malekzadeh of the Digestive Disease Research Centre at Tehran University of Medical Sciences looked at 300 people who had been diagnosed with a throat tumour and a matched group of 571 healthy people who lived in the same area.

Those who drank hot tea (between 65-69 degrees Celsius, 149-156 degrees Fahrenheit) were twice as likely to develop throat cancer compared with those who drank warm or lukewarm tea, whose temperature was 65 C (149 F) or less.

Drinking very hot tea (at least 70 C, 158 F) was associated with an eightfold increased risk compared with warm or lukewarm tea.

In an editorial, The Lancet said the study backed evidence that scorching fluids may cause damage to the throat's epithelial lining and lead to cancer, although exactly how this happens remains unclear.

But it also said that there was no cause for panic, as most people tend to drink tea at a warm temperature. Previous studies in Britain have reported an average temperature preference of 56-60 C (133-140 F).

It recommended that tea junkies wait at least four minutes before drinking from a freshly boiled cup.

The study said there was no association between the amount of tea that was consumed and the risk of cancer.

Its scope did not include an assessment of risk for coffee and other hot beverages.

Padahal start kul 9pm..rsnye ade dpt fwd msg ni petang td tp tak terperasan kot coz trus delete huhu . Sbb ape sy pegi program ni? tah la huhu..tetiba je terasa hati nk pegi. Lgpn tajuk pn agak menarik. Tajuknye adelah 'Dating'.

Untuk sesapa yg pernah mengenali dan jgk pernah bersua dgn empunya diri ni mesti pernah terperasan dgn keadaan di bawah mata saya (nk try tukar aku ke saya coz tah la rs cam kasar sgt lak aku ni huhu ) ade kesan lebam hitam. Dari dulu sampai ke la ni sy igtkan bende ni terjadik becoz selalu tido lmbt ataupn baca buku dlm gelap tapi sangkaan saya salah . Saya dah terjumpe 1 artikel di internet yg cerita tentang perkara ni.

Memang rimas jgk la dgn lebam hitam bawah mata ni coz nmpk macam mata malas..n ramai yg kata tak mandi pagi la ape la huhu . I think I've had enuff. Sy ptt wat sumthing to solve it once and for all. yeahhh bg semangat sket huhu .

I just think kpd sesapa yg ade problem yg sama..harap2 kita dpt lebih memahami ape yg berlaku pada mata kita .

Dark Under-Eye Circles

How and why your body creates dark under-eye circles

Most people think that dark under-eye circles are caused by staying up late watching monster movies, or having that last drink the night before, or sitting up with your laptop trying to finish the quarterly report. Most people think that their behavior is somehow linked to dark under-eye circles.

Well, most people are dead wrong.

If nothing else, I want you to know that dark under-eye circles are not your fault. They don't mysteriously appear when you misbehave or are stressed out, only to vanish when you get 8 straight hours of sleep. Dark under-eye circles are a by-product of the very same mechanism that produces bruises (and you don't blame yourself for bruising, do you?). Changing your behavior will, in almost every case, NOT get rid of your dark under-eye circles.

Having said that, onto the specifics:

What causes dark under-eye circles

Your shiners, your raccoon eyes, your blue luggage... whatever you call your dark under-eye circles, here's what they really are: oxidizing hemoglobin.

Dark under-eye circles begin in the capillaries, the tiny blood vessels that web the delicate skin around the eyes. Now, your capillaries are so small that red blood cells sometimes have to line up, single file, to get through. Frequently, red blood cells get lost and wander into the surrounding skin. This isn't a problem - it happens all the time - and your body has a mechanism to mop up these escapees. Enzymes in your body break down the red blood cells, including their hemoglobin (the molecule that gives them their distinctive red color).

No problem, right? Except for one thing: when hemoglobin is broken down, its remaining components have a dark blue-black color. Just like a bruise. So your dark under-eye circles are actually caused by leaky capillaries.

How dark under-eye circles are like bruises

When something hits you, blood vessels are traumatized and sometimes broken. Blood leaks out into the surrounding skin. Your body begins the mopping-up process, and you see a dark, purplish or blue-black discoloration.

So, as you can see, dark under-eye circles are very similar to bruises. The same mechanisms produce them.

Why are dark under-eye circles so visible?

It's quite possible that capillaries all over your body are leaking small amounts of blood all the time (I don't know if this is true or not). But the reason dark under-eye circles are so apparent is this: the skin around the eyes is some of the thinnest, most delicate skin of your entire body. The capillaries are much closer to the surface of the skin there. Many people's skin is not only thinner around the eyes, but also more translucent.

The combination of capillaries near the skin's surface and translucent skin makes this discoloration much more apparent. And that's why you have those dark under-eye circles staring back at you in the mirror.

Getting rid of dark under-eye circles

Best home remedy for dark circles

The most effective remedy for dark circles is also the most cliche. Thin slices of cucumber applied to your eyes not only helps to lighten the skin, but also soothes and cools the eyes. This can be especially comforting if you've been up late the night before or your eyes are red and tired from allergies or staring at a laptop screen.

Lay down on your back (because it's easier to balance the cucumber slices that way). Lay thin slices of cucumber on your eyes, making sure they have contact with the skin under the eyes. Leave them on for 5-10 minutes. It's a good idea to set your alarm clock if you're doing this early in the morning. Be careful not to get cucumber juice in your eyes.

Tea bags as a remedy for dark circles

The caffeine in tea bags acts as a remedy for dark circles by diminishing puffiness. Caffeine in tea helps to diminish water in the tissues around the eyes (you'll notice that many early eye circle creams contain caffeine for this very reason). In addition, tea contains antioxidants that are beneficial to the skin.

Take a used tea bag (green, black or white) that's been squeezed out. Make sure it's cool! Leave it over your eyes for about 10 minutes. You'll see a noticeable improvement in puffiness and under-eye circles. Be careful not to get tea in your eyes.

Herbal tea bags are not useful as a remedy for dark circles, except for chamomile tea. Chamomile is an anti-inflammatory that can help reduce swelling and puffiness.

Utk entry ni aku just nak wat summary atau ringkasan je sebab hari ni aku terasa sakit dan sengal2 di seluruh badan dari tapak kaki sampai la ke hujung jari huhu. Agak seksa jgk la coz terasa sakit bila nak wat sesuatu aktiviti..even nak jalan pn sakit.

Aku terpaksa buat aktiviti harian aku dgn slow motion. Nak panjat-turun katil double decker ni pn amik masa 10 minit huhu. Even nak naik-turun dari kereta pn payah..nk solat..etc. Tapi alhamdulillah suma dpt dilakukan dgn baik walaupn terpaksa tanggung sakit sikit huhu.

Harap2 bsk kesakitan ni akan berkurangan..walaupun akan mengambil masa. InsyaAllah.

Assalamualaikum,

There's a news article I've found in The Star online today about toll hike for 5 expressways from March 1 2009..for full article pls click here.

The highways affected are the

1)North-South Expressway (PLUS) (increase of 5%)

2)Sprint/Kerinchi/Damansara Link highway (increase between 30 and 50 cents)

3)Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Expressway (AKLEH) (increase by 50 cents)

4)Sungai Besi Highway (increase by 10 cents)

5)New Pantai Expressway (NPE) (increase by 40 cents)

Even though I'm not quite affected by the increase with expressways in the Klang Valley as I only use them occasionally but the increase with North-South Expressway does hurt my pocket as I use this expressway frequently (Melaka-KL).

With the current toll rate, from Ayer Keroh exit to Sg. Besi toll plaza and vice versa is RM16.50..starting from 1st of March 2009, the new rate will be RM17.325 or RM17.35.

Now I need to think twice to go back to my hometown or KL huhu

I went to KL today to see her and I wanted to hang around KL with her today as I haven't seen her for weeks now. My first destination once I reach KL is to have a rest for a while and had lunch at my grandmother's home while waiting for her to finish her job at her office. As the clock ticking, it's 2.30pm now and I have to pick her up at her office in downtown KL at 3pm. After I picked her up, we discussed where are we going to go next. After that, we decided to watch a movie but today is weekend..cinemas all over KL must be full with people .

The only solution that I can think of is to go to a cinema that's a lil' bit far from KL..we went to IOI mall Puchong..is it far from KL? Maybe for some people but not for me as I love to travel far hehe . Hmm..the mall is not as grand as other shopping malls in KL like the Pavilion and Mid-Valley. It's just a small (not quite small but OK la) suburban mall.

There's not many people at the ticket counter and all movies still have many seats available..very nice huh .I don't know which movie we're going to see and she said she wanted to see the Pink Panther 2. Before I watch it, I have a perception about the movie as I thought it was boring (I didn't watch the Pink Panther 1) but I was wrong..the movie is hillarious and fun to watch . Now I have a very good reason to watch the 1st one .

After the movie finished, we went to Ara Damansara..as she mention that there's sumthing going on over there. I really eager to find out what is it as I've never been to Ara Damansara before...

When we arrived there, there was an event. It's called..

Hahaha does it sound childish? The event is an exhibition of cartoon figurines. As the figurines are lighted..they looked very lively at night time.

I like this picture..Mickey and Minnie Mouse look so lovely together .

At the same place, there's a bazaar that sells many things.. for me they are very unique as I couldn't find anywhere in KL (there are but very limited). I really interested wif some things that available over there but I was not ready wif extra cash hehe .

Assalamualaikum,

The entry today is titled 29 February..why i posted this entry? this year is not even a leap year and I should post this entry about 1 year ago (2008 is a leap year) but what the heck..I don't even have a blog at that time . Even though it's a year late but I've keep thinking by myself about why there is a day extra in February every 4 years.

The mystery always pop up in my mind during the month of February, every year but I didn't bother to search for the answer until today hehe . It's not because I'm lazy or not but I just think it doesn't really affect my daily life..I depend on the internet to search for the answers as I didn't ask anyone regarding to this matter. There's a lot of answers to it but they're lengthy and complicated with all those maths formulas. Yeah..maths does play an important part for the answer. As I spend some time to search for the answer and then wallaa I've found a simple and easy to understand statement.

Even though it's not so that important but at least we can gain some general knowledge and I should share this with u guys .

Q.

Every 4 years we have an extra day in February making it 29 days. How did they come up with Leap Year?

Ans.

A day is not actually 24 hours long. It's actually 23 hours, 56 minutes and 10 seconds long. In four years the 'lost' time would equal exactly another day so we have an extra day added to February. This means that a year is 365 1/4 days long. In 4 years, we have four 365 day years and four quarter from those years - which equal an extra day.

Apabila smpi ke Sg. Petani utk menghantar adik balik ke kampus..tetiba ayah terfikir utk ke Muzium Arkeologi Lembah Bujang (cuma beberapa kilometer je dari kampus UiTM menghala ke Tg. Dawai). Aku pn agak teruja sebab tak penah lg jejakkan kaki ke situ. Tak lama kemudian kami pun bergerak ke sana.

Lembah Bujang ni adelah salah 1 kawasan arkeologi zaman purba di Semenanjung..di sinilah sebuah tamadun lama yg dah wujud sebelum tertubuhnya Melaka lagi. Tamadun di sini lebih di pengaruhi oleh agama Hindu..dibuktikan dgn peninggalan candi-candi dan alatan utk upacara keagamaan Hindu.

Aku dan Syafiq Akhmal menjejakkan kaki ke Bukit Beruang..aku yang ajak Syafiq ke sini sebab saje nak dia amik gambar kat area sini pakai kamera dslr baru dia hehe. Lagipun Syafiq ni tak penah lagi jejakkan kaki ke Bukit Beruang ni..rasa kelakar jgk sebab dia ni student MMU..dah tu umah plak kat Ayer Keroh Heights...xkan la tak penah pegi panjat Bukit Beruang kan ekekeke . Tp takpe la..maybe dia ade sebab yg tersendiri. Baru2 ni Syafiq ni dah ade hobi terbaru..photography.

Tau2 je dia ni minat photography, aku pun merekemenkan dia ke Bukit Beruang coz ade 1 tempat yg boleh tgk view 1 bandar melaka smpi la ke laut. Lgpn memang dah lama nak amik gambar tp cameraphone aku tak begitu power nak amik gambar jarak jauh huhu . Lgpun boleh amik gambar nature yg ade di sekitar bukit tu.

18 February 2009.

Selamat harijadi yg ke-24 pada Firdhous @ dikenali ramai sebagai Daus. Dah lama kenal ko ye Daus..semenjak kita masuk umah kat BBI tahun 2003 dulu sampai la ni.

Last minit nye plan..tak tau nak wat ape. Sampaikan Faris pun buntu ape patut yg ktorang wat utk celebrate birthday ni. Kebetulan pulak malam tu hujan. Nk wat aktiviti luar memang tak dapat la huhu .

Last2 kami berempat..aku, daus, faris n latip pegi ke Mc Donalds Ayer Keroh just utk makan2. Tambah lg sorang kwn yg datang kemudian, Shafee dalam lebih kurang 30 minit rasanya. Bersembang-sembang tgk2 dah pukul 2 pagi..kejap je rupanye 2 jam tu hehe .

Semoga ko dapat harungi cabaran masa2 yg akan datang

Assalamualaikum,

Hi everyone..so, you guys enjoyed your holidays?

Bermula jua semester yg baru dan yg terakhir utk year 2008/2009 selepas 3 minggu final break. Sem ni insyaAllah merupakan sem terakhir aku kat MMU ni ..dah lama aku kat sini huhu. Tak banyak subjek yg aku register utk sem ni, 3 subjek to be precise n 3 hari je masa belajar..tu pun tak pack sgt. Fikir2 balik igt nak keje part time nak cari pengalaman..dapat jgk duit poket sikit n abiskan masa lapang yg ader. . Tapi tu suma boleh fikir kemudian, 1st of all masuk kelas dulu dan identify tarikh exam n assignment yg akan di buat and then baru fikir yg lain.

Mula2 fikir masa nak naik sem balik ni igt nak tukar bilik hostel..harap2 ade la bilik yang kosong lagi. If takde jugak nampaknye terpaksa wat operasi mencari umah di luar huhu . Memang dah plan nak pindah bilik cuma tak berkesempatan je..tgk la maybe boleh setel dalam this week..I hope.

Masa cuti aku habiskan dgn kursus (SuSe Linux) n bercuti di Korea Selatan. Tak lama aku melekat kat umah..huhu lgpun mmg tak suka duduk umah pun..ade je alasan nak pegi jejalan. At least dpt merehatkan minda aku yg sesak especially masa last sem.. n memang dah minat kot jejalan

Here's a quick announcement.. I will away for few days as I'm going to South Korea tonite. I will bring both of my mobile phones but I'm not sure whether they can be used over there as there's no GSM roaming if I'm not mistaken but we'll see. Ni la akibatnye taknak tukar henset 3G huhu .

If I can use my phone :
1)I will reply sms which is very important only! (RM2 per sms)
2)Strictly no calls..I will not answer it as international charges is high.

If I can't use my phone :
1)I will turn off my phones and put it inside my bag. I will turn it back on when I arrive home.

2009 New Year's Eve..~

Malam 31 Disember lepas aku sambut new year di The Curve, Damansara..tak penah lagi sambut kat sini. Selalunya sambut kat area KLCC dgn Bukit Bintang..belah2 town la lebih kurang tapi tahun ni sambut kat tempat yg agak jauh sket dari KL huhu . Bertolak dari umah dlm pukul 9pm..sampai KL dalam pukul 10pm. Then amik kawan aku di Taman Melati. Masa tu tak plan lagi nak pegi sambut kat mana...calling2 bebudak ni ade yg sambut kat KLCC ade yg kat The Curve..ade yg sambut kat umah je . Last2 wat decision nak join bebudak di The Curve tu.

Sampai je kat area Damansara dah start jam..memang sesak. Orang dok parking kat kiri kanan jalan. Nak parking punye la jauh masuk kawasan perumahan. Jalan kaki ade la dalam 20 minit

Bebudak ni ade kat Cineleisure..masa nak jalan ke sana, sibuk la pulak org ramai ni tembak snow can pada orang ramai...terkena la jugak sikit2 . Memang meriah..ramai remaja n budak2 kat sini tak macam kat tgh KL. Jumpe je diorang ktorang pun tunggu utk countdown.

Tepat je pukul 12am..ade la fireworks display lebih kurang 15 minit n ramai orang dok sembur snow can (Aku pun main sama la haha )..

Abis je bunga api..ramai la yg bersurai balik umah. Cuma ktorang je lepak lg kat sini lelama hehe . Ye la watper nak rush sebab jalan mesti jam tak igt..sementara tunggu tu ktorang lepak la depan Ikea sambil cuci mata tgk org ramai lalu lalang kat situ ..ade pentas concert kt area situ n ade yg dok menari2 lg..ramai aku tgk kecik2 lg..budak skolah agaknye..

Me and friends huhu

Dah puas duduk kat situ sejam lebih..ktorang pun beransur ke kedai mamak di TTDI. Ni macam aktiviti tahunan..lepas sambut new year mesti singgah mamak. X byk pun gambar aku amik..wat sakit ati je..byk yg blur ehehe . Lepak kedai mamak tu sambil berborak sakan..tup2 dah pukul 3.30am. Ahhhh time tu aku dah rase mengantuk. Dah la aku kena balik Pahang mlm tu jugak ..akhirnye aku pun terpakse bergerak dulu..lepas antar je kawan aku balik ke Taman Melati, aku pun drive balik umah..sampai2 je dah pukul 5.30am.

Memang penat tapi bukan selalu kan..setahun skali je hehe ..neway, we had fun dat nite and enjoy ourselves..

Nampaknye aku dah terminat 1 song by Wonder Girls - Tell Me..sebelum ni aku tak tau pun lagu ni wujud huhu . Aku dapat tau psl lagu ni pun disebabkan adik aku (fyi dia ni mmg fanatik dgn lagu n citer2 korea)..wat lagu ni jd ringtone henset (utk sms plak tu)..jadi, berpuluh-puluh kali sehari aku dok dengar lagu ni. Sampai la 1 tahap aku rase cam best plak haha .

Lgpun aku suka tgk video clip ni sbb artis2 dia cute2. . Layankan je la eh zasss~

Hari ni klas abis awal..dalam tengah hari dah abis. Waaa kejapnye la blaja, tak puas. Kalo bleh nak je suh En. Fikri ajar jgk ape2 yang patut sampai kul 5pm . Terfikir jgk ape yang aku nak wat dgn banyak masa lapang ni..fikir punye fikir dapat jgk idea. Nak carik SD Card and tripod for my camera. Kamera aku tu masa beli dapat SD Card 1GB free tapi x dpt free tripod. 1GB SD Card tu mampu nak tampung dlm 500 gambar. Memandangkan aku nak pegi bercuti Khamis ni aku rasa 1GB tak cukup..terpaksa beli lagi 1. Lgpun aku nak amik night shot..takder tripod susah nak dpt clear shot. Dalam 10 gambar, 9 mesti blur..adus takleh jadik ni..nak taknak kene ade tripod jgk huhu .

First mission, carik SD Card.

Aku dah target kat mane nak beli SD Card ni..kedai komputer paling popular kat area Bukit Beruang ni. Tak lain tak bukan Stygix . Stygix ni jadi pilihan coz barang2 dia yg agak murah sket tapi tak bermaksud aku tak penah gi kedai lain just Stygix tetap jadi pilihan utama semenjak aku melangkah masuk ke MMU lagi.

SD Card yang Stygix jual cuma tinggal 8GB storage je..dalam RM60. Alaa, mahal sangat la pulak tapi aku terjumpe Micro SD yg agak pelik..maybe u guys dah biasa but what the heck, tu benda yang baru bg aku .

Micro SD softmod jadi SD Card

Terjumpa Micro SD 4GB dan jgk SD Card adapter..wahh ni boleh menjimatkan wang ringgit ni . Harga dalam RM30. Cukup la kot dgn 4GB ni..dah ade 1GB yg sebelum ni. Lantas aku bayar pada amoi cashier yg cute tu dan teruskan misi kedua aku.

Second mission, carik tripod.

Kedai first yang aku pegi..kedai gambar kat Taman Kerjasama ni jgk. Aku nak carik paling murah jer. Bukannye slalu aku berfotografi..kamera pun ade kat hometown . Ingat nak survey harga je dulu hari ni. Nak beli bsk lusa pun boleh. Ok..kedai ni paling murah pun RM50..waa mahal jgk ye. Aku igtkan tripod ni murah je. Takper bisik hatiku huhu..boleh survey tempat lain. Aku ajak Sapik ikut aku gi survey tripod. Macam2 tempat aku pegi, first gi Melaka Sentral, then Mahkota Parade n Dataran Pahlawan..3-3 tempat tu paling murah pn RM65. Mcm ni better aku beli kat Bukit Beruang ni je . Tapi tak pasti lagi la nak beli je tak. If dapat jumpe budak yg dapat pinjamkan tripod aku x jadi beli .

Alang2 kt Dataran Pahlawan, pegi la pusing2 kejap n terjumpe la booth Bandai jual patung2 Gundam.. dapat jgk aku snap gambar serba sikit character2 Gundam ni

Saper minat Gundam?

Ikut kata salesboy yg jaga booth tu..besok last day. Jadi peminat setia Gundam sila dapatkan secepat mungkin sementara stok masih ada .

Moh Ke Utara..(2)

Sambungan Moh Ke Utara .

Selepas je bertolak dari Penang, kami pun menuju je utara ke Sg. Petani. Ktorang singgah Sg. Petani sekejap utk hantar barang2 adik kat asrama di UiTM. Lepas setel je letak barang2 tu ktorang pun bergerak ke Kuala Kedah (masa ni plan nak ke Langkawi still on ) tapi apekan daya, sampai je jeti Kuala Kedah dah pukul 7pm lebih. Masa tu feri suma dah abis. Terpaksa tunggu esok tapi ayah aku tetiba plan amik feri di Kuala Perlis n naik feri esok hari. Kecewa di Kuala Kedah, kami pun bertolak ke Kangar, Perlis n bermalam kat situ. Sampai je Kangar..kekecewaaan melanda lagi skali coz hotel suma penuh. Tak banyak hotel di Kangar ni n tanye punye tanye..resort di Kuala Perlis pun dah penuh. ..aihh takleh jadi ni, nak tido mane pulak. Time tu dah lewat, tak silap pukul 10pm. Hmm makan malam pun belum lg, ktorang singgah di KFC jap. Kebetulan kat KFC tu ade wireless n aku pun bawak lappy. Malam tu jgk carik list hotel kat website n try call hotel mane yg still available.

Hotel kat Perlis dah memang sold out huhu..nampaknye terpaksa cari hotel di Kedah. Call punye call dapat jugak hotel di Alor Star . Dapat je book bilik ktorang pun bergegas gerak dari Kangar ke Alor Star. Fuhh, memang penat coz check in kt StarCity hotel, Alor Star tu pn nak dekat tgh malam .

Keesokan paginye, aku igtkan plan nak ke Langkawi still on tapi family aku dah cancel pulak huhu. Ye ka aku paham, penat. Nak naik feri ke Langkawi lagi ..dah la masa tu tgh cuti skolah. Aku fikir2 balik hotel kt Perlis penuh coz suma nak gi Langkawi kot..maybe. Takut sampai Langkawi nnt takde bilik pulak..naya je nnt huhu. Takkan nak balik ke mainland balik .

Disebabkan plan ke Langkawi cancelled, ktorang pn bertolak la balik ke selatan ke Sg. Petani utk hantar adik balik ke kampus.

moh ke utara..

Masa study week dlu..lebih kurang 3-4 minggu lepas, aku n family bercadang nk hantar adik balik ke UiTM Kedah since dah nak start sem baru..alang2 semua orang tgh free, ktorang pun bercadang utk holiday di Penang dan Pulau Langkawi..tapi x jadi pegi Langkawi coz ade sebab2 tertentu huhu . Negeri yg dpt di cover oleh kami like Perak, Penang, Kedah n Perlis. Lama jgk la trip tu, lebih kurang 5 hari. Walaupun x dpt pegi ke Langkawi..aku x kisah coz trip tu memang puas hati walaupun penat.. tak byk gambar yg aku ambik tp at least ade la sikit yg boleh aku postkan kat sini.

1st destination, Pulau Mutiara.

Sampai je kat Penang ni trus cari hotel..dah malam n time tu memang agak penat coz bergerak non-stop dr Pahang (ade la stop 2-3 kali kt R&R ). time tu kebetulan plak cuti skolah, hotel suma penuh..lepas carik dlm 3-4 hotel, alhamdulillah dapat jgk jumpe hotel yg ade bilik. Hotel yg kami bermalam tu, Tanjung Bungah Beach Hotel. Aku suka environment hotel tu especially kt lobi..open air dgn bayu laut. Deco pun mmg cantik..aku puji jgk la hotel ni hehe.

Around the hotel

Kebetulan pulak aku tgh bz time tu wat esemen ..tak berapa menghayati sgt la holiday kt sini huhu..lgpun byk tempat yg ktorang x lawat kt sini. Tempat2 ktorang pegi masa kat sini, Batu Feringgi..mkn seafood tp aiseh slack sket coz x sedap sgt, Gurney Drive n Queensbay Mall.. tu je la kot . 2 mlm je kami kt sini. After dat, kami pun meneruskan perjalanan further north..ke Kedah Darul Aman.

Linux class .. 1st day..~

Isnin lepas adelah first class aku utk klas SuSE Linux dan juga permulaan utk Module 1: SUSE Linux Enterprise Fundamentals..location di AI Lab FIST. 1st day tu aku dah leh agak yg mesti tak berapa ramai student yg akan masuk coz kebetulan plak byk program2 dan kursus MDeC utk student MMU time cuti semester ni contohnye program2 mcm J2EE Web Application, PHP n Linux..n program2 tu semuanye free of charge. Mmg betul jangkaan aku..cuma 6 org je yg hadir in the first day huhu. Kebetulan pulak lab yg berhadapan dgn AI Lab pun tgh mengajar klas Linux tajaan MDeC tu..tapi bezanya diorang blaja RedHat Linux n student mmg nampak tersangat la ramai..penuh 1 lab.

Tgk jgn x tgk...

Program MDeC tu mmg menarik..teringin jugak nak masuk tapi timing tak kena dgn schedule yg dah di plan awal by me coz program MDeC will end in 23 of January n masa tu plak dah plan nak pegi holiday . 2nd day di ajar by Mr. Fikri jgk tapi 2nd half di ajar by Mr. Ibrahim plak..rasa2nye Mr. Ibrahim akan ajar smpi abis module ni. Cuma 2nd day of course ni agak susah sket coz byk command yg perlu di hafal n nak di gunakan..in fact in the 2nd module nnt akan lg lebih complicated sket. Kene study bebetul ni huhu .

Student2 tgh khusyuk blaja ..

Student2 yg masuk klas ni bkn je dari melaka..even from cyberjaya pun ade jgk. In the first day cuma 6 org tapi tetiba je 2nd day bertambah plak student huhu..most of 'em are foreign students. Best jgk la coz dapat la sket kawan baru even though diorang just amik 1 module je. Maybe kesunyian sket kot masa masuk module 2 nnt huhu. Neway, I've just completed 2nd day of the course..6 more days to go.

Abis je xm aku khamis lepas aku pun bergerak balik to my small lovely hometown tapi lepas beberapa hari berehat aku kembali jua ke negeri kelahiran Hang Tuah pd hari ni sebab aku telah pun meregisterkan diri aku untuk kelas Linux (Novell Linux Academy)..yang akan bermula pd 12 hingga 21 Januari 2009.

Novell Linux Academy ni terbahagi kpd 3 module :
1)Module 1: SUSE Linux Enterprise Fundamentals
2)Module 2: SUSE Linux Enterprise Administration
3)Module 3: SUSE Linux Enterprise Advanced Administration

Tapi aku cuma register utk 2 module je..iaitu module 1 dan jugak module 2. Ingat nak compeletekan je semua but tak dapat nak amik module 3 coz schedule yg clash dgn plan aku utk pergi holiday pd 23hb ni .. walaupun aku tak berjaya mengcompletekan ketiga-tiga module tu sebagai 1 requirement utk menjadi Novell Certified Linux Professional 10 (NCLP) tapi dengan 2 module yg pertama tu dah layak utk menjadi Novell Certified Linux Administrator 10 (NCLA)..first of all nak dpt certification tu kenala pass xm dia dulu kan huhu

The class will start at 9am until 5pm..mcm waktu bekerja la plak kan..dah terbiasa dgn waktu blaja kat MMU ni mesti akan terasa cam lama je. Last aku terbiasa dgn time tu pun masa praktikal beberapa bulan lepas. . Sebenarnye aku memang jarang giler guna linux ni. Pernah try guna masa Hack In a Box hacking competition dulu dan jgk Ubuntu live cd tapi cuma gitu-gitu je la..x pernah serius dgn linux. Cuma skrg je bebetul terasa berminat nak berjinak-jinak dgn linux ni . Course ni akan di ajar oleh 2 org tenaga pengajar iaitu lecturer FIST dan jgk pro-linux , En. Ibrahim dan En. Fikri.

Module 3 tu boleh amik next time coz rasa2nye course ni akan ada balik during trimester 3 nanti. Lagipun alumni pun boleh amik ..so tak payah nak rush nak completekan cepat-cepat sebab masa nak amik tak terhad.

End of timester 2 2008/2009

Secara rasminya aku mengakhiri semester 2 2008/2009 pada khamis (8 Januari 2009) bersamaan dengan 11 Muharram 1430 pukul 4.30pm setelah berhempas-pulas utk menyetelkan 3 paper final ..ade budak yang abis xm awal dan ade jugak yg abis xm lambat tapi yg pastinye kebanyakannya dah balik ke kg halaman masing2..

Aku ucapkan selamat bercuti pada semua student2 MMU yg dah abiskn xm..kite jumpe lagi di sem yang baru dan juga hopefully my last sem in MMU..

Kpd kengkawan yang sem ni adelah sem terakhir aku ucapkan selamat maju jaya dalam kehidupan selepas terkeluar dr status student sepenuh masa..harap korang dpt keje yg best-best.

Dan tak lupe jugak selamat bertunang pd kwn baik saya, Khairul atau nama popularnya Kay dan Munira pada 28 Disember lepas..semoga pertunangan ini kekal hingga ke jinjang pelamin..Insya-Allah.

Sekarang adelah exam week di MMU...bermula dari 5-11 Januari 2009. Ada yg dah prepare awal dgn study time study week bermula dari minggu lepas..dan ade jugak yg start agak lambat. Tapi study tu dah jadi 1 kewajipan utk menempuh exam yang bakal menjelang tiba.

Entry ni pendek je as aku pun terpaksa study utk xm yang akan bermula 7 & 8 Januari ni..cuma sakit sket coz 8hb tu ade 2 paper. Kena pulun habis-habisan huhu ;). Aku berdoa agar Allah dapat kuatkan semangat aku utk belajar dlm beberapa hari ni. Insya-Allah.

I think i will not update this blog until I habiskan the last paper.. so stay tuned :) and wish me luck~!

Tahun baru sudah menjelma..rasa macam sekejap je tahun 2008..tup-tup dah masuk tahun 2009. Macam-macam pengalaman dah aku lalui dalam tempoh 365 hari lepas..ade peristiwa manis yg dapat dijadikan memori/kenangan indah dan jugak peristiwa pahit yg dpt dijadikan iktibar dan renungan. Tapi aku anggap semua tu sebagai pengalaman dan perjalanan yg biasa dalam sesebuah kehidupan..harap2 pengalaman yang dah aku lalui selama ni dapat membantu aku untuk membuat keputusan yang menentukan hidup aku pada masa depan. I want to put the past behind me.

Untuk permulaan tahun baru ni aku ada beberapa wish list dan juga beberapa resolusi yg aku patut aku capai sebelum tahun 2009 ni berakhir..dan secara amnya untuk tahun ni i just want to be a happy person..think positively and i try to better myself in life, academic, career etc. Walaupun ade possibility tak semua resolusi yang aku set tak akan tercapai but i will try my best. Usaha tangga kejayaan huhu :)

Permulaan tahun ni di mulakan dengan final exam yang akan berlangsung pada 5-11 Januari..sekarang mesti student2 MMU tengah berhempas-pulas study for the exam. Finally, I would like to wish good luck and study smart for the test. All the best. Hope to hear good news from u guys next sem :)

Tahun baru 2009 dah semakin hampir..ape plan dan azam korang utk hari2 berikutnye? Aku dah malas nak wat azam baru sebab bagi aku tak semestinya mesti tunggu masuk tahun baru then baru nak berazam..for me, berazam tu bila2 masa je tapi yang paling penting sekali USAHA..itu yang menjadikan azam tu menjadi atau tak.

Neway, walau ape pun aku ucapkan selamat tahun baru 2009 pada semua. Semoga tahun baru ni dapat memberi nafas baru dan hadapi masa2 depan yang lebih mencabar.

Just came back from UiTM Shah Alam..ade hal sket. Berkaitan dgn adik yg mintak transfer kampus dr UiTM Kedah ke UiTM Perak. Tempat berurusan kat Bangunan Canselori..agak2 kat sini opis vice-chancellor UiTM kot huhu.

Bangunan Canselori ni kat atas bukit..same with other UiTM Shah Alam buildings..you guys sure tau yang UiTM Shah Alam ni berbukit-bukit..so boleh nampak view Shah Alam..even boleh nampak KLCC and KL Tower tapi takde dalam gambar kat atas sebab kecik sangat ;)

Assignment + Vacation~

Finally~!! Siap jugak assignment last aku ni..woohooo. Memula aku ingatkan assignment ni tak berapa susah sangat tapi rupa2 nye susah jugak. All because of the case study yang aku kena pahamkan dan tanya soalan2 yang nakkan opinion. Tak boleh main taram je takut salah. Memang makan masa nak wat assignment tu lebih2 lagi aku on vacation mode sekarang :P.

Mengikut plan asal, aku dan famili nak hantar balik adik bongsu aku ke UiTM Kedah sebab dah nak naik sem baru..alang2 tu boleh pegi holiday skali. Destinasi pilihan adelah Penang dan Langkawi. Ermm...takpe la. Citer pasal holiday ni boleh wat kemudian..next entry :).

Nasib baik hotel2 yang ktorang menginap ni ade internet access. Internet sekarang penting untuk aku siapkan assignment tu sebab kene banyak wat research. Ade hotel yang kenekan caj..ade yang tak, macam sekarang ni. Yang tak kene caj ni 1 je problem, connection yang sedikit slow and kekadang dc..tapi takleh nak komplen la kan sbb free.

Semenjak khamis, aku terpakse berjaga malam sampaikan tak tido seharian semata-mata nak siapkan assignment ni. Tensen jugak time tu sebab terdengar bebudak menjerit bergembira kat tepi swimming pool and tepi pantai sedangkan aku terpaksa mengadap laptop seharian huhu. Boleh siap cepat sebenarnye tapi banyak masa aku habiskan dalam keta travelling. Sekarang masa untuk aku dapatkan masa tido aku yang dah beberapa jam tertunggak dan enjoy selagi aku blom balik ke hometown.

Dah pukul 6.30am ni..masa untuk rest. Sign out dulu k..ZzZzZzZz.

Sabtu lepas merupekan besday ayah aku yg ke-55 tahun. Sempena dengan tu, my family dah wat keputusan nak gi makan-makan kat sebuah restoran western kat Bukit Bintang. Nama restoran tu The Ship. Restoran ni mengikut kata ayah aku dah lama..semenjak dia menuntut kat ITM dulu. Ade la dalam 30 tahun lepas kot. First impression dengan restoran ni, sign board nmpk macam dah lama. Tak pernah tukar semenjak 30 tahun yg lepas kot huhu.

Entrance dah ok tapi signboard cam tak penah basuh je huhu.

Kat Bukit Bintang ni memang dah semangat krismas abes..waiter2 dengan waitress2 dah pakai topi krismas. Masuk je dalam restoran ni memang dah ramai dengan org. Pelik jugak sebab tak wat booking pun dapat gak table. Nasib baik la kot. :).

Ingat nak amik gambar dalam restoran tu tapi gambar tak berapa terang lak. Maklum la pakai cameraphone. Blurr blurr gitu. Tapi ade gak la shot2 yang agak clear.

Tagline "The Best Steak In Town" tu aku rase agak betul kot sebab steak dia memang lembut je (Macam masak tak well done pun ade gak)..macam biase la kalo aku makan steak mesti order black pepper. Macam takde yang lain je. Walaupun steak dia tak berapa tebal macam kat Chili's Grill & Bar tapi memang kenyang..nak abeskan pun memang kena paksa perut suh terima daging2 tu huhu.

Sos black pepper yang paling black yang aku penah nampak..tak tau la camner diorang wat.

Selesai je makan..kitorang pun beransur balik..naik 2 keta. Parents aku park kat LowYat Plaza n aku plak park kat Pavillion. Time on da way balik ke carpark memang sesak dengan org berbagai2 bangsa. Maklum la malam minggu..

Aku masih lagi di bebani dengan assignment-assignment yang perlu di hantar minggu depan. Tinggal dua lagi assignment yang masih tak siap lagi dan masih lagi dalam proses (padahal tak jalan lagi wat masa ni huhu).

tapi assignment ni paling best coz aku hanya hantar nama dengan ID je. Ni la kelebihan group leader yg terlebih rajin :)

Assignment Production & Operations Management tu aku terpaksa mengedit video utk 10 minit dan report pun aku kena wat memandangkan ahli group yg lain terpaksa siapkan report FYP. Dalam semester ni, aku rasa assignment ni yg paling beban tapi harap2 dapat setelkan video tu dlm masa terdekat.

Aku jadi group leader utk assignment Software Project Management tu tapi assignment dia bg aku tak berapa susah sgt..tugas pun dah bagi pada ahli group aku tapi aku tak tau la diorang wat ke tak.

Eye On Malaysia~

2 minggu lepas, secara detailnye (4 Disember 2008)..Aku, Azreena dan kawannye dari KL, Hajar pergi bersiar-siar kat area Melaka. Jadi aku dan Azreena pun secara tak langsung jadi tour guide tak berlesen membawa Hajar berjalan-jalan di tempat-tempat tourist selalu pergi. Antara tempat yg kitorang lawat, Dataran Pahlawan (Tempat2 nak shopping), Restoran asam pedas kat Bukit Cina (Aku tak penah pun datang sini, Azreena yang merecommend. Tapi masakan dia memang puas ati. Laen kali bleh datang lg.), Rivercruise @ Sg. Melaka (Ni dah kali ke-3 aku naik tp aku tak pernah naik time malam..sebelum ni datang petang je.)

Jalan punye jalan dah pun pukul 11 malam..risau jugak takut Hajar tak dapat masuk hostel sebab tau2 la kan pukul 12 tgh malam, pak guard MMU akan mintak semua orang yg nak masuk ke kampus catitkan nama and ID dlm buku log. Tu takpe lagi..cuba la kalau tetiba pak guard tu rajin nak tengok ID card..memang tak pepasal je.

Fikir2 lagi time tu, tapi kitorang ingat sempat lagi kot nak singgah Eye On Malaysia kat muara Sg. Melaka. Dah lama aku nak pergi kat sana..sebelum ni just lalu je or tengok dari jauh. Aku teringat kata member aku yg cakap Eye on Malaysia tu tutup pukul 10pm tapi tengok ferris wheel tu masih lagi beroperasi dan tiket masih lagi di jual. Lewat jugak Eye on Malaysia ni tutup sebab masa Eye on Malaysia ni kat Tmn Tasik Titiwangsa, KL dulu pukul 10 mlm dah gelap.

Landscape di lokasi Eye on Malaysia tu memang cantik especially pada waktu malam. Memang dah pasang niat nak naik tapi tak sure bila and kalau nak naik mesti time siang..rasa2 nye malam tak nampak pemandangan sekeliling.

Alhamdulillah..akhirnya aku dah harungi cabaran pertama iaitu midterm yg secara rasminya berakhir pada Jumaat lepas (12 Disember 2008). Sekarang aku perlu hadapi cabaran kedua which is assignment yg perlu di hantar seawal minggu dpn dan juga cabaran terakhir final exam pada akhir trimester nanti.

Now aku bebetul harap dapat siapkan assignment yg ade secepat mungkin..iskkk.

Aku kembali ke KL selepas seminggu di Melaka. Hari Sabtu, aku keluar dengan seorang kawan lama, kawan time sekolah dulu masa form 4-5. Aku baru je pertama kali jumpa dia balik sehari sebelum (14 November 2008) after nak dekat 6 tahun tak jumpa. Fuhh punye la lama kan. Tapi dia tetap macam dulu takde perubahan pun. Kebetulan pulak hari ni kitorang nak keluar lepak2 tapi tak tau nak pergi mana. Akhirnye kami pun buat keputusan ke One Utama.

Kebetulan pulak di One Utama, ade 1 show mengenai robot called ASIMO (Advance Step in Innovative MObility) ciptaan HONDA. Dari ape yang aku dengar, ni kali ke-3 robot ni dah buat pertunjukan di Malaysia. Agak teruja jugak la aku sebab selama ni aku cuma dapat tau pasal robot ni kat TV dan internet. Akhirnya dapat jugak tengok robot ni secara live.

Keseluruhannya, memang aku kagum dengan kebolehan robot ni. Macam ade orang je dalam sut robot tu tapi tidak, semuanya mekanikal. Mungkin dalam masa 20 tahun akan datang robot dah boleh berfungsi macam manusia biasa. Who knows.
